On February 16, DonorUA organized a Іфште Valentine's Day Blood event for the American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine (the ACC). Sixty-six employees of the Chamber's member companies donated blood for military and civilian patients.

Each donation is an opportunity to save the lives of three people in need of transfusion. Any of us can find ourselves in such a situation, and developing a culture of donation is the key to timely help for all of us.

Photos from the event are here.

The Сorporate Blood Donor Day events are an opportunity for businesses and government agencies to join the donor movement in an organized manner. Such events enhance corporate social responsibility of companies and the culture of donation in society. The funds raised by such events allow DonorUA to organize other thematic events to attract donors, conduct educational activities and fund donated blood deliveries to the frontline regions.

For reference: DonorUA is NGO and the only professional digital system for recruiting and navigating blood donors in Ukraine. It supports the work of 22 blood centers, cooperates with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, EU institutions, WHO, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Global Blood Fund. More than 7,000 patients have received targeted help through the platform, and it takes no more than 20 minutes to find a donor for a specific patient.

The American Chamber of Commerce in Ukraine is one of the most active and influential non-profit organizations operating in Ukraine. The organization is the voice of major investors operating in Ukraine and works to attract new investors to the market.
