On November 9, Creative State of Dnipro hosted a new event as part of the #Bloom with DonorUA campaign. During the event, 24 people donated blood for the needs of the Onco-Hematology Department of the Dnipro Children's Regional Hospital. The blood was collected by the field team of the Dnipro Regional Blood Centre.

"The goal of the #Bloom with DonorUA campaign is to show that blood donation is for everyone, that it is not scary, not painful, not difficult and not 'strange'. The vast majority of adults in Ukraine can be donors, and each donation can save up to 3 lives. By conducting outreach donations in different cities, we give people a new experience of donation and change their perception of it, and thus fight stereotypes," comments Iryna Slavinska, co-founder of DonorUA and president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Blood Donors of Ukraine.

24 donors equal more than 10 liters of blood for children with oncohematological diseases. This blood can be enough to save more than 30 children's lives.
