On November 25-26, the #SeeIT by DonorUA exhibition promoting blood donation opened at the CITY Mall in Zaporizhzhia. During the opening, everyone could find out their blood type, and 34 guests took such advantage. The exhibition will be availible at CITY Mall until December 2 (photos are here). The exhibition is part of the #Bloom with DonorUA campaign.

The blood types of the citizens were determined by certified instructors of the All-Ukrainian project "My Blood Type/WWB". The procedure is carried out using the innovative EldonCard method - it is simple, safe, does not require a full medical education, and takes 2-3 minutes to get the result.

The #Bloom campaign is dedicated to the beauty and benefits of blood donation. It highlights it as part of a quality lifestyle - modern, stylish and healthy. You can also support the campaign and DonorUA.

The "My Blood Type/WWB" project is being implemented by DonorUA in cooperation with the Operation SafeDrop initiative of the MAD Foundation and Eldon Biologicals, which produces EldonCard test systems.

DonorUA is NGO and the only professional digital system for recruiting and navigating blood donors in Ukraine. It supports the work of 22 blood centers, cooperates with the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, EU institutions, WHO, the International Committee of the Red Cross and the Global Blood Fund. More than 7,000 patients have received targeted help through the platform, and it takes no more than 20 minutes to find a donor for a specific patient.

Operation SafeDrop is a project of the MAD Foundation aimed at supporting Ukraine and people here. The initiative covers such areas as civilian evacuation, humanitarian aid, assistance to communities in building shelters, restoration of critical infrastructure after the war, and free blood group determination throughout Ukraine.
