On February 10, as part of the #Bloom with DonorUA campaign, a new on-site blood collection was held at the GULLIVER shopping mall (photos are here). 40 people donated blood to help the patients of the Amosov Institute, mainly wounded soldiers with blood loss.

"We thank GULLIVER for supporting the donor movement and especially our projects. Every event here is special. 40 donors giving blood brings hope to 120 patients in need of a transfusion. During the #Bloom campaign we also emphasize that donating is not only about helping others, but also about benefiting yourself, about progressive values and a conscious attitude," comments Iryna Slavinska, co-founder of DonorUA and President of the All-Ukrainian Association of Donors of Ukraine.

The procedure was performed by specialists of the Amosov National Institute of Cardiovascular Surgery, where many military patients, including the severely injured and bleeding, are treated.
