On March 16, the #SeeIt exhibition by DonorUA opened at the Zlata Plaza Shopping Mall as part of the #Bloom campaign. During the event, 56 Rivne residents learned their blood type for free (photos from the event included).

"The #SeeIt project demonstrates that blood donation concerns everyone. None of us are born heroes, but we choose to become heroes ourselves. Donors are just as alive as soldiers, volunteers, all of us. They are everywhere around us: at the neighboring table in the office, behind the counter at the café, next to us in the subway or in the gym. While there are contraindications, the vast majority of adults can donate blood, and today it's especially important," says Iryna Slavinska, co-founder of DonorUA and president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Blood Donors.

#SeeIt is an exhibition of portraits of donors, accompanied by their personal stories. The people in these photos don't know each other, have different experiences with donations, interests, and values—the only thing uniting them is the desire to share their blood and help people in this way. On the #Bloom campaign website, you can view the portraits, read the stories, and share your own.

Blood types were determined using the EldonCard method—it's simple, safe, doesn't require extensive medical knowledge, and only takes a few minutes to get the result. DonorUA introduced this method in Ukraine as part of the "My Blood Type" project.

The exhibition will run until March 23. On the same day in Rivne, at the Atmosphere coworking space, a blood donation event will take place where everyone interested can donate blood for military and civilian patients. Details and registration are available at the link.

The #Bloom campaign is dedicated to the beauty and benefit of blood donation. It portrays it as part of a quality lifestyle—modern, stylish, and healthy.

Additionally, anyone interested can support the blood donation movement with a financial donation or become a volunteer for DonorUA. Any participation and support are important!
