On April 5th, DonorUA held its second Corporate Blood Donor Day event for the company VIDI (photo). 70 employees donated blood for the needs of military and civilian patients. The blood collection was conducted by specialists from the Kyiv Regional Blood Service Center.

"The VIDI team not only donated blood with us for the second time but also ranks among our record holders. Last time, 68 donors participated in the event, and today, there are already 70. This is one of the highest indicators among corporate donations, and we are grateful for every drop of blood. Together, you have saved up to 210 lives!" commented Iryna Slavinska, co-founder of DonorUA and President of the All-Ukrainian Association of Blood Donors.

Each donation is an opportunity to give hope to three people in need of transfusions. Anyone of us can find ourselves in such a situation, and the development of a blood donation culture is a guarantee of timely assistance for all of us.

Corporate Blood Donor Day events are an opportunity for businesses and government agencies to systematically join the blood donation movement. Such events promote corporate social responsibility and the culture of blood donation in society. The funds raised allow DonorUA to organize other thematic events to attract donors, conduct educational activities, and transport donor blood to the frontline regions.
