On April 6th, a new mobile blood donation event was held at Forum Lviv Mall as part of the #Bloom campaign by DonorUA (photos are here). 42 donors gave blood to help military and civilian patients in the Lviv region. The procedure was carried out by specialists from the Lviv Regional Blood Service Center.

"When you donate blood, you feel warmth and uplift. Moreover, each donation rejuvenates the body and reduces the risk of cardiovascular and oncological diseases. So, by donating blood, you literally bloom, and that's why we named the campaign that way. Donating blood is when you save lives while also improving your mood and health," commented Iryna Slavinska, co-founder of DonorUA and president of the All-Ukrainian Association of Blood Donors.

As part of the campaign at Forum Lviv Mall, there was also an exhibition called #See, where 38 Lviv residents learned their blood type for free at the opening.

Within the #Bloom campaign, there are on-site blood donations, thematic lectures, support actions for donors, and the release of stylish charitable merchandise clothes. The project proves that donating blood can be simple, comfortable and modern.
